Longboard Surfboards

Longboard surfboards, or logs as they are sometimes called, are usually categorised as being over 9ft in length although some people argue anything over 3ft of your personal height is considered a longboard.

Longboards are generally designed to be surfed in small or weak waves, with the focus being on trimming, cross stepping and nose riding rather than sharp turns. A longboard style of surfing is much more relaxed compared to shortboarding, often appealing to a different type of surfer or even considered a separate sport.

Traditionally longboards were large and heavy, coining the name log. Since then, longboard surfing has diversified and there are performance longboards, traditional nose riders, hybrids and of course is the case with surfing - everything in between.

All of our longboards are handmade in Cornwall and best suited to UK waves. The sizes are given as examples and can be modified to suit your height/weight and style of surfing.

All our boards are hand made to order, ensuring you get a board best suited to your height, weight and surfing ability.
