User friendly surfboards, designed and shaped by a surf coach, handmade in Cornwall.

This company was hatched by Max, an experienced surf coach who understands the important relationship between surfers and their equipment.

Continuing to coach surfing alongside, Max turned his eye to designing and making surfboards predominantly for improver and intermediate surfers, after seeing his friends and new customers struggle with their current, outdated surfboards.

‘Surfing has changed a lot in the last ten years but equipment and even some people’s attitudes are still in the past. 

Everyone has their opinions and you don’t always get to speak to an expert when you walk into a shop or message a board shop online. Some ‘experts’ have forgotten, or never knew what it’s like to be an average surfer’

Our models have been designed around the modern surfer and their feedback has refined the shapes and sizes. 

The wheel wasn’t reinvented, instead time was spent listening to surfers' needs and creating defined differences in models that make it easy to understand who they are for and how they respond in the water.

At our core we are approachable, empathetic and highly knowledgeable about surfing. There’s no surf jargon here, no stupid questions and no one is labelled a kook or made to feel foolish for not understanding how a surfboard is made.
