The overall thicker and wider measurements allow you to size this board shorter than your average mini-mal - this makes it easier to handle in and out of the water.

Most mini-mals on the market were designed decades ago and haven't changed much since. The Sunny Side Up was designed from scratch by a surf coach who has spent countless hours coaching improvers — so it's wider, shorter, and easier to surf than a traditional mini-mal. The extra width and thickness mean you can size it shorter than you might expect, making it easier to carry, turn and even fit in a car.
